PH CONSUL GENERAL TO CHONGQING MEETS ASEAN CONSULS GENERAL BASED IN KUNMING, YUNNAN

25 February 2022, Kunming – On her first official visit to Kunming, Yunnan Province today, Philippine Consul General Flerida Ann Camille P. Mayo hosted an introductory dinner meeting with Thai Consul General (Mr.) Mongkol Visitstump, Malaysian Consul General (Mr.) Faizal Shani, and Laos Consul General (Ms.) Manila Sombandith, to exchange ideas on meaningful joint activities pertaining to ASEAN in the provincial capital, with the end in view of enhancing ASEAN’s economic ties with Yunnan. 

Kunming is home to six (6) ASEAN Consulates General, including those of Cambodia, Vietnam, and Myanmar.  The Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing is officially accredited to Yunnan province as an official representative of the Philippines.   END
